We're Jon & Emilie, we're a husband & wife, living & creating by the coast in West-Wales with our dog Maggie.

Back in 2020, the pandemic hit and our day jobs as photographers & videographers came to a complete halt, so we were left figuring out what we could do to keep paying our bills. We decided to invest all our savings and go on the journey of launching our own brand. We'll admit, launching a new business in the middle of a world-wide lockdown was pretty daunting, but it turned out to be the best risk we would ever take.

Doing everything in house as a 2 person team, we launched our first womenswear brand 'Lovaine Store' and then last Autumn in 2021 we started working on another brand. Inspired by our love for roads and waves, that's where 'Made On The Open Road' was born, which launched in March 2022, on our 2 year 'Lovaine Store' Anniversary!

To us 'Motor' is more than just a brand, but a community and lifestyle. Inspired by those whose lives are spent planning road trips, chasing waves, cooking by the campfire and sleeping under the stars. A community fuelled by adventure and made on the open road. #weareMOTOR
